  • Corrdinates resident graduation events
  • Assists with the use of required electronic systems
  • Responsible for verifying proper credentialing of residents. Obtains necessary documents and credentials and submits to appropriate hospital departments. Maintains proper credentialing of present House staff and resident files
  • Coordinates department resident orientation and all major resident meetings. Plans orientation schedule, arranges location, notifies residents regarding necessary orientation documentation and schedules involved faculty. Arranges for all materials for student lectures
  • Responsible for “Procedure Credentialing System” as required by appropriate accrediting agency (i.e. RRC). Regularly reviews database for residents’ procedure credentials and keeps director/department head informed of status
  • Distributes and tracks receipt of student evaluations
  • Compiles statistics, creates reports and summarizes results of resident evaluations and assessments for department manager
  • Leads and guides lower level department personnel, including interpreting Residency policy and procedures as well as in training and guidance in proprietary departmental tracking systems (New Innovations)
