  • Assist in responding/researching community questions on a daily basis
  • Communicates regularly with appropriate leadership regarding community issues
  • Implementing HR policies, procedures and instructions, monitoring relevant legislative and market changes within the region, anticipating potential impacts and recommending changes to human resources policies, programs and practices which are both competitive and cost effective
  • Defining and recommending organizational objectives, developing specific short-term and long-range plans, and monitoring progress to assure work objectives are attained and schedules are met
  • Coordinating periodic review of human resources policies, human resources programs and management instructions; recommending revisions to promote internal equity and/or competitiveness within the industry
  • Planning and providing oversight for HR activities/staff including: deployed HR representatives, employee relations, policies and procedures, project HR, fair hiring practices, diversity and all other country specific labour legislative requirements
  • Ensuring functional/project HR teams are working as lean and efficiently as possible to optimally support the employees and the business. Continually review processes and procedures to assure the least amount of HR process steps and hand-off’s as possible
  • Troubleshooting HR issues that arise on project, within the functions or with BBS and provide advice to HR team on best course of action
  • Detail oriented, organized, flexible and able to work with multiple parties at all levels is essential
