  • Assures that materials incorporated into the construction work are in compliance with plans and specifications and approved shop drawings, and that items requiring laboratory testing are tested before use on the project
  • Exercises surveillance to assure the Contractor is conducting quality control operations to produce work in conformance with plans and specifications
  • Provides daily surveillance of Contractor Quality Control (QC) system to assure that it is working effectively, in that required quality tests are made and appropriately reported in a timely manner along with daily quality control reports
