  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control for business management functions, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure in alignment with risk appetite
  • Identify, mitigate and report on risk issues and ensure appropriate escalation processes are followed
  • Provide leadership team with information, reporting and support to ensure operational risks are appropriately managed and adherence to internal policies / procedures and applicable regulatory guidelines is effective
  • Work with management / control function partners (e.g. specific areas of Risk Management, Finance and Audit) to assess risks, develop and implement proactive strategies, tactics and programs to effectively manage issues
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place, maintained, and tested for satisfactory resiliency for critical business processes, in response to a wide range of potential threats
