  • Effectively builds ongoing relationships with multiple contacts including, customers, employees, peers and superiors to create a professional network through proactive communication. Ensures timely and responsive customer contact, needs based selling techniques and by adhering to all applicable guidelines
  • Ensures exceptional customer service by maintaining thorough knowledge of all lending programs, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements such as TRID, ECOA, HMDA, CRA, Reg Z., FCRA, etc. Obtains and keeps current, all required licenses such as NMLS, SAFE Act, etc
  • Ensures proper documentation and tracking of loan information using Loan Tracking system, CRM system and other reporting tools. Provides weekly/monthly/annual data to management, as required
  • Work with external referral sources to develop a book of new to bank customers under the guidance of the Sr. LO
  • Developing new customer relationships and expanding existing ones; promoting loyalty by providing professional, exceptional service in accordance with the Bank’s Standards
  • For referred loans, analyzes areas of concern and determines proper course of action (e.g., obtain explanations for derogatory credit). Prepares loan disclosures required by Federal/state laws (e.g., Good Faith Estimate, Truth-InLending)
  • Originates conventional and government residential mortgages and participates in related business development activities
