  • Coordinates and assigns technical functions within pharmacy to ensure timely and accurate services

Responsibilities For Lead Pharmacy Technician Resume

  • Maintain adequate supply of forms and other related items necessary to meet the needs of the order entry and triage area
  • Maintain a pharmacy order entry and triage training program and ensure that all technicians are appropriately trained according to current policies and procedures
  • Review orders for completeness, faxing back orders to customers as needed
  • Maintain appropriate staffing of the order entry and triage area and coordinate with all pharmacy staff to ensure that all daily time requirements are met or exceeded
  • Assist in preparing order entry and triage technician work schedules
  • Provide employees with timely and constructive feedback helping to develop employees to their full potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth
  • Oversee pharmacy technicians working in function levels 1 and 2 using the proper procedure to complete all daily assignments
  • Work with senior technicians to oversee the daily production of assigned function including returns, and/or packaging, and/or picking and or staging and/or triaging and/or medical records
  • Knowledgeable of department metrics and productivity levels
