- Years of Experience designing in CATIA V5 or V6
- Experience with CATIA is required along with Ford Teamcenter Engineering
- Plastic injection molding process knowledge is required
- 4+years of recent hands on experience with CATIA V5 or V6, with surface, part and assembly design
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (skills tested from design requirement and picking correct tolerance)
- Proven track record of working on early concepts with skills mature these concepts to prototype and production state
- General understanding of VPM, PDM and PLM practices, change control and change effectivity

- Industry experience related to the design of automotive exterior systems
- Creating CAD concepts with expectation for a quick turn-around for rapid feedback from the team is critical to this role
