  • Collaborates with Japan to collect and report on market data analytics from Radford, Mercer, McLagan, Salary.com and other related market data sources as required to build in-house market intelligence
  • Builds and maintains the global compensation structure for Americas, EMEA and APAC. This includes establish grades, pay ranges, job titles and variable cash and stock/LTI compensation levels. This also includes job placement in grades and ongoing updates of the global structures based on data analytics
  • Manages executive compensation practices and pay programs for all non-Japan based CEO and C-suite executives. Collaborates with Japan Total Rewards for review and approval of executive and stock/LTI compensation matters
  • Leads the efforts to research market data to determine and report upon competitive practices for base salaries, bonuses, commissions, recognition rewards, allowance, relocation and other pay practices in the United States, EMEA and APAC (i.e., companies and or business units headquartered outside of Japan)
  • Assists in articulating policy, practices and process for to ensure compensation alignment with performance goals, performance measurement and job competencies

  • Works with recruiting and HRBPs to evaluate employee total compensation data relative to targeted compensation in all geographies/countries outside Japan
  • Collaborates with Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP) to help educate and train line management; assists internal HR teams document internal pay practices
  • Supports companies, business units and regional HRBPs in the evaluation of jobs, creation of job families, documentation of job descriptions and salary survey job-matching
