  • Responsible for convening the Annual Campus Nominating Committee by required date set in the Medical Staff Bylaws. Submits names to the System Office and completes nomination reports to be mailed to eligible voting members for each election year
  • In accordance with Medical Staff Bylaws coordinates and maintains timely Emergency Room call schedules, in collaboration with elected department chairmen or designated section chairmen as assigned, serves as designee for medical staff leader. Assists medical staff members with submission of call change forms to the system office
  • Serves as liaison with the medical staff, hospital administration and medical staff leadership to maintain and enhance effective relationships and ensure overall physician engagement
  • Is knowledgeable concerning practitioner demographic and organization specific data bases for the hospital and production of customized queries pertaining to the Campus membership and committees. Facilitates medical staff members’ demographic updates
  • Work collaboratively with Credentials Specialists to achieve effective credentialing processes
  • Receives and manages complaints from or about physicians and forwards through the appropriate individual or process
