  • Perform editorial and editorial operations support tasks (format proofreading, prepress checks, small proofreading jobs), assist Production Editors working on CARR Publishing Group titles with editorial tasks as requested (copyright pages including updated templates and updates for all information on the copyright page, pagination guides, UPS mailing slips, printing manuscripts)
  • Freelancer Management: on behalf of Acquisition Editors and Production Editors, manage the assignment (with deadlines), flow, evaluation, and payment of invoices for editorial work assigned to Independent Contractors (ICs) (macro editors, content editors, copy editors, proofreaders, indexers, theological reviewers) and monitor and negotiate freelancer rates
