Responsibilities For Director, Cardiac Services Resume

  • Monitor physiological status of patient when needed; assist in initiation and maintenance of emergency procedures
  • Perform data entry and report generation at the CVC and offsite clinics
  • Lead clinical management of the service line, including developing and implementing clinical initiatives and programs in alignment with Cardiac’s approved strategy and to advance the clinical care provided by the team to deliver clinical excellence with cost effective coordination of care throughout the service line
  • Continually monitor patient and family experience. Work closely with the service line management team and Children’s Patient Experience team to develop and implement improvements as needed
  • Build trusted partner relationships with the service line leadership team, the cardiac service physician team, and cardiac management team —listen actively to understand what’s working well and what needs to be adjusted
  • Represent Children’s cardiac program and promote clinical profession by participating in professional activities at the state, local, and national level through involvement and on leadership committees in professional associations
  • Produces quality echocardiogram and vascular exams following department policies and procedures and IAC standards
  • Employs relevant guidelines set forth by ASE, SDMS and SVU, including scope of practice
