Responsibilities For Animal Caretaker Resume

  • Reviews and understands all animal use protocols and approved activities
  • Take first level AALAS examination within one year of hire for CAR employees. Optional for other units
  • First level AALAS certification for LACS employees. Optional for other units
  • Second level AALAS certification required for CAR employees. Optional for other units
  • Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (first level) AALAS certification
  • Certification/Licensure: Achieve Assistant Laboratory Animal Technician (ALAT) certification within six months of eligibility to sit for the examination
